We contribute to increasing crop yields and to the sustainable and efficient production of food, helping to reduce hunger.
GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The LIDA Plant Research product range helps reduce the amount of chemicals applied to crops, contributing to residue-free food and better conservation of soil and water.
In addition, LIDA has its own quality control laboratory, where all the physicochemical properties of raw materials and finished products are analyzed to ensure the final product’s quality and stability.
CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Thanks to the reduction in synthetic chemicals applied to crops promoted by our fitovaccines and biostimulants, we help reduce the amount of harmful substances that can reach water bodies and marine life.
In addition, our facilities operate a closed-loop water system to recycle wash water and wastewater generated in our factory. As we are located in a privileged natural environment—the Albufera Natural Park—our social responsibility to protect our surroundings is especially strong.
RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION
We are active members of AEVAE, a packaging waste management organization, participating in the reuse and recycling of plastics. In this way, we ensure that each package receives proper environmental treatment. We adopt eco-efficient practices by using renewable energy and develop low-environmental-impact products that reduce the use of resources in agriculture.
CLIMATE ACTION
We develop solutions that reduce the use of polluting products and help overcome adverse climate conditions, maintaining growers’ yields and crop quality during periods of climate stress such as water shortage, heat, or cold, thereby ensuring food production.
As a company, LIDA measures the CO₂ emitted across all its activities in order to implement reduction measures in the areas with the greatest potential for improvement. In addition, our facilities have been powered by our own rooftop solar farm for more than 15 years, using 100% of the photovoltaic energy generated, making us a pioneer in the adoption of renewable energy
