strensil

strensil

Biostimulant

for the improvement of the mechanical resistance

of cells and tissues.

Stronger and more compact plants,

with more vigour, better posture and stability.

Features

Strensil is the biostimulant based on glucosamine silicate that improves the mechanical resistance of vascular and epidermal cells of stems, leaves and fruits. It strengthens their integrity, consistency and structural rigidity. It allows for stronger and more compact plants, with more vigour, better bearing and stability.

When strensil biostimulant is applied via the roots, it causes an increase in root absorbing trichomes. This increases its efficiency linked to the uptake and flow of nutrients. Once absorbed and transported through the xylem. It is deposited (silicification process) on the cell walls of the conducting vessels until it reaches the leaves. This creates mechanical barriers that strengthen the leaves and make them more resistant.

If the biostimulant is applied via the leaves, silica is deposited between the cuticle and the endoderm in polymeric and colloidal form, as well as in the stomata. This keeps water and minerals available, i.e. reduces the rate of transpiration and makes the leaf tissue more turgid. Silicified tissues make better use of light, as they are able to scatter and eliminate harmful ultraviolet rays more effectively.

In addition, glucosamine silicate increases the production of secondary metabolic compounds such as polyphenols and certain enzymes that are essential for optimal yield and crop quality.

Doses and crops

Citrus and fruit trees

With root applications of 4-5 litres per hectare at sprouting, beginning of growth and ripening.

To improve the consistency and to improve the storage and transport behaviour of the fruit: make a foliar application of the biostimulant strensil shortly before harvest at 250 c.c. per 100 litres of water.

Tomato, pepper, courgette, cucumber, aubergine, bean, watermelon, melon and strawberry

Use root applications of strensil biostimulant of 3-4 litres per hectare at the moment of transplanting with a periodicity of 3 weeks.

Make a foliar application shortly before harvest at 200 c.c. per 100 litres of water: to improve the consistency and to improve the storage and transport behaviour of the fruit.

Lettuce, cauliflower, spinach, beetroot, kohlrabi, potato, onion, garlic, leek and celery

Root applications of 3-4 litres per hectare from the beginning of vegetation, one treatment of the biostimulant strensil every 3 weeks.

Rice

The foliar dose is 3-4 litres per hectare, with treatments of the biostimulant strensil at 25, 50, 75 and 100 days after sowing.

Soybean and legumes in general, maize, wheat and other cereals

Foliar applications are recommended at a rate of 1 litre per Ha, with 2 or more applications of the biostimulant strensil, from V4 to R1.
