colorsave® is a fruit colouring biostimulant based on plant naturally occurring substances that take action in different physiological processes as fruit ripening.

It stimulates natural development of colour without producing softening nor early fruit senescence.

It is a liquid emulsifiable formulation prepared to be used with conventional spraying devices, from the beginning of the colour change of the fruit until shortly before harvest, allowing to reduce the number of harvest.

colorsave® takes action in the colouring processes:

  • Increasing the endogenous levels of oxilipins and stimulating natural production of ethylene.
  • Activating the enzymes related with anthocyanin and carotenoid synthesis.

Further more, colorsave® application in the fruit ripening phase causes an increase of the cell wall lignine, as well as an increase of antioxidants and flavonoids, and volatile compounds responsible for the fruit aroma, which justifies a fruit quality improvement.

 

colorsave®, as a fruit colouring promoter, is an alternative to other plant growth regulators, as it does not create metabolic problems in plants, as foliar deformity or early senescence, nor creates an significant advance in the ripening cycle, which could generate problems as softening, etc., and, finally a loss in quality.

colorsave® contains the same natural substances that fruit produce for the colour development , which results in a uniform and natural colouring, without affecting negatively in fruit quality.

colorsave® main goal is to create a uniformity in colour development and to match physiological ripening with the maximum of coloured surface.

· First application with 30% coloured surface of bunches

· Second application, 7 days after first application

· Third application, 7 days after second application
